Icy Start

This is the sight which greeted us at Dalby this morning. The sun was just catching the top of the trees. The sun did not reach the valley bottom and consequently the car park was like a skating rink.

The trails were just as bad in places but after warnings it was decided the Park Run would go ahead. At least there were opportunities to run off the trails on the worst of the icy sections. Everyone took it very carefully and arrived at the finish unscathed.

Then home for a coffee , present wrapping and baking. Looking forward to a Sunday lunch with the family tomorrow.
