Christmas Concert

 The evening had begun with the best ever mince pies and mulled wine  but if we thought that we would just sit back, enjoy the performance and get away without singing, we were seriously mistaken as there were seven congregational carols, the excellent Heriot-Watt choir and orchestra performed on their own in what was essentially Seven Lessons and Carols.

We were delighted to take, as guests, old friends (an ex-flatmate) whom we see only too rarely, it was good to catch up with all our news over supper afterwards.
