Skiddaw

Morning round home.  When Clickychick returned from the Hairdresser mid afternoon we decided to have a run through to Keswick to visit a particular shop  looking for certain items.

You can't visit Keswick without going down to the lake.  So we wandered along aiming for a blip.to the field across the road from the Theatre by the Lake.  It was absolutely heaving with people taking photographs.  Five (if you include us) with tripods and everything up and down the scale from there.

As we entered the field this "sculpture" of willow caught my eye.  The light on Skiddaw was particularly nice so I took some shots looking away from the lake.  When I examined my shots I liked this one.

While taking lake shots we heard a voice behind us.  Looking round there was fellow blipper Marpaul and Misty.  After a chat and as the light was failing we had a wander round the shops ending up with a coffee in Booths.
