Battle

Today has been a battle.

It was freezing cold first thing and I thought I’d have a day of reading.  It was a difficult book, too many mathematical theories for my liking.  But I’ve now read 65 books for the year, and I’m still going.

I received some Christmas cards in the post, one from my relatives in Canada and then my friend Jules’ daughter had done a nice little drawing for me.  It was lovely and made me smile.

I think the thing that pushed me over the edge was worrying about food, it might not be a really restrictive diet but sometimes I would love a bacon sandwich or something.

The ice hockey in the evening saved me, as the Cardiff Devils beat our biggest rivals, the Sheffield Steelers 4-1.
