Upstream

This was taken early this morning.  Very finger-numbing, very frosty, but not the hoar frost we had on Tuesday.  Having said that, today's post is a bit of a pair with Tuesday's shots - context and close-up - only this time it's the close-up that's gone in Extras.  And it was taken in the water meadows rather upstream from the nature reserve.  I liked the apricot sky.

After that it got darker and horribly wet, but as I had nothing better to do than gossip and consume sweet potato fries, spritzer and coffee at The Bridge in Shawford, I really can't say it's been a bad day ;))

Is frost a festive feature?  I hope so as that's how I've tagged this.
