The Christmas express

There is a small station near our house. It not used as such, but there are people living in the building, selling refreshments on their terrace during season to tourists coming to or from the steam train. I was expecting it to be open today, because the train is riding this weekend from Simpelveld to Schin op Geul and back, with stopovers at all stations including this one. My walk had to have a coffee break,  but I had no such luck,  because the station was closed.
To have the blip I hurried away along the track to make this blip,  a steam train waiting in vain at the closed station.
Oh, and I didn't get to see Santa nor his little helpers.
