Timberrrrrr!

Had a late night last night, after our mammoth sleep the night before, which led to a not so good night last night :-/

Very overcast this morning, and very damp, but nevertheless we got wrapped up and went for a walk.......the woods are free of snow and frost now.

There are quite a lot of trees down, not sure if they been felled purposely, or just uprooted naturally with thr wind, not that weve had high winds of late. Im guessing the former, as there are a lot of congested parts, so thinning is in order me thinks :-/
I liked all the patterns of the criss-crossed trunks.

We stopped off to post a couple of birthday cards on the way to collect the papers on our way back home, as the rain started to come down quite steadily, fortunately we were kitted up ;-)

The rest of the day has been spent indoors, We watched "A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart, such a lovely film, then I watched my team win, just! Hubs currently watching a couple of episodes of Game of Thrones whilst Im catching up with your journals :-)

I cut into our Christmas cake today, couldnt wait any longer, its really nice, even if I do say so myself ;-) Seabass and vegetables for dinner tonight.....as we overindulged slightly yesterday :-/

Im guessing this week will be last in work for most of you, then the festivities will be upon us! Have a good week all.
