It's That Most Wonderful Time of the Year

The rurby red jewels are popping as the sugar slowly melts. The air is filled with sweet orange and warming port. It's a heady combination and a ritual I adore.

The second batch is always better than the first but I'll give it a few days before I consider what needs adjusting. Now to seal the jar.
