All made of wood

We’ve been out for Sunday Lunch at the beautiful new home of lovely Gliding friends.  H is half Swiss and half German and her German Grandfather made many beautiful wooden replicas of Bavarian houses, villages and Swiss Chalets etc.   H brings them out at Christmas time and lights them up and they all look really charming. 

H is a brilliant cook so lunch was fabulous as was the company, the conversation (not all about flying!) the cozy log burner and the best bit, having a dog on my lap again.
