Helping
Up early for a Sunday to get some work done as my usual Sunday term time routine was a bit disrupted. A few essays annotated before I made a cup of tea and left the door open for Bailey who decided to stay in his bed. He did deign to come for a walk in the cold and almost daylight. It was a welly-walk based on quite slippy pavements but we managed to get around the big block without any incidents.
A couple of little jobs done before Bailey was left to his own devices for a couple of hours and I headed out to do the annual present drop. We caught up over hot chocolate and a mince pie and had a wander around the garden centre before heading back in the mizzly weather.
Bailey was pleased to see me but less keen on going out in the mizzle. We did do it though and he has then spent the rest of the day mainly sleeping in different locations. I caught up on Strictly and wrapped presents, getting through most of them but giving up once Strictly was done - with some fast forwarding. Bailey thought he might help at one point but he was not too much of a distraction.
I've done bit more work this evening in front of more catch-up telly and a hope that the next three days go quickly.
