Gouldian Finch

So many photos to choose from today! I just about picked this at random. Found this fine fellow at the Bird Kingdom in Niagara Falls today. Really lovely aviaries. Now have lots of ideas for the one I'm going to build when I'm a millionaire.

As it turns out, the view from our hotel really is stunning, even with the Marriott in the way. Woke up this morning to a truly splendiferous view of the falls. Pity about the dirty windows.

Only four nights left in this holiday, well five if you include flying time. Can't wait to get home.
