Saturday Sun - LIVE!

No, not a photo taken on the wrong day in bright weather, but the band - a cross between Radiohead and The Verve, in my humble opinion.

Playing at The Music Box, Salisbury, where I often snap live music, this four-piece drew a good crowd and a representative from a record label - that was the rumour at least and I'm pretty sure I clocked who that was watching - the shaved head, suit jacket and the furious chewing of gum? I'd got a photo of them into the Salisbury Journal 18 months ago and so have followed them, would be great if they finally made 'it'!

Anyway, took loads and have only edited this one, which required almost no work and is uncropped. There may be better ones, too late to look through now. Shot HD video, too, with camera used, Nikon D7000 - I use the Nikkor 17-35mm f2.8 for that, my lovely 85mm f1.8 G Nikkor for this still of the lead singer and guitarist.
