This is the first of my 2018 portraiture resolutions. 

I met George on Sunday, he's ones of many portraits for a commissioned project that I am really pleased to be part of.  Portraiture, and in particular documentary portraiture is has been burning inside me all year. I work mostly in commercial but I need projects like this to keep my photo flame alive. Thank you Marsha, you are right, George is a talking, walking fascinating book. 

If your thinking this is better as a colour shot.. It is.. I am saving that for the book and the project :) x
