~Friendship Redux~

Oh the joy, I was almost giddy with excitement when I saw the late afternoon sky clouding up. Am I going to get another chance at a gorgeous sunset tonight? Yes, I did get another shot (pun not intended) at another Arizona sundown display. Up on Sunset Ridge tonight my hands were shaking, either with anticipation or old age, but I didn't want to miss a single instant of these quick moving parades. This one only lasted for about five minutes, some last as long as three quarters of an hour. So when my friend Gene showed up at the Ridge tonight I told myself, say hi and focus on your task. Turns out my task was revisiting with Gene who I had not seen all summer, as he is what we call a Snowbird, he travels to cooler locals during our hot desert summers. He is back now and I'm very glad to see him and catch up, a good guy!
