Seven Weeks Later
I'm apparently not much of a weather prognosticator -- nearly seven weeks ago, I blipped an aster and wrote "...having our Michaelmas daisies bloom... means that autumn is not far off,
and beyond that, the dark months of winter. All the more reason to relish these last days of summer!"
I'm still blipping asters (a morning shot -- that's dew, not rain), and we've had a very long and dry summer, but it's about to come to an end, with heavy rain forecast for the weekend and into next week.
I hope that our long summer means we'll have a very short autumn and winter!
