Landfill

Twenty five years ago this was a busy refuse tip, following its closure it was allowed to settle, soil added and landscaping carried out. Then twelve years ago the Local Authority, Natural England then The Forestry Commission did a lot of tree planting including Larch, Birch, Pine, Rowan, etc., which are providing cover now, it's still a bit harsh but things are growing and providing a natural habitat.
