Mono Monday 204 - Crime/Detective/Thriller

The Bone Collector staring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, is one of those films that stay with you.  I think it ticks all of today's thematic boxes.  A policewoman hunting a serial killer who leaves clues consisting of pieces of bone from all of his victims, asks for help in deciphering the clues from a quadriplegic forensic expert.  With the policewoman chasing down the clues under the experts direction from his bed, they form a strong partnership.in order to solve the puzzle and catch the criminal.  There is a thriller/horror element in the situations that she finds herself in.  A brilliant film, from a book by Jefferey Deaver.  I think it is difficult to find a bad film staring Denzel Washington.  This film poster is taken from a Wikipedia entry.
