Cookery Course at Castle Dairy, Kendal

I signed up for a cookery day hosted by the Castle Dairy chefs in Kendal.  Amazing day - these are the Chef's canapés - mine were not quite so pretty.  During the day we also produced a stuffed turkey breast and leg with several different vegetables and cranberry sauce, whipped up chantilly cream, and created a flaky pastry mincemeat dessert with a apricot sugar syrup.  All delicious and very tasty.

The Castle Dairy is a medieval building in Kendal which  operates as an art gallery and a College-run restaurant, with food prepared by Kendal College hospitality students.  Photo of the restaurant itself in extras.

Great day - thanks to Chris and his inspiring team.
