Family Christmas

I have been absent for a few days as we travelled up to Manchester to see Tom for a catch up and then on up to Scotland to visit with our Scottish family. The weather on Saturday was cold but sunny and we had a lovely few hours down Lomond Shores with the wee ones where the view of the Ben and the Maid of the Loch never ceases to impress. As always the hospitality from the family was wonderful and we had a really special time.

Robin and I also popped to Cameron House for a hot chocolate and it was a shock today to see the fire there on the news and to hear the tragic news about loss of life and several injuries.

We travelled back on Sunday in almost constant rain and in dreadful motorway spray. It felt like driving through a mist and Rob did a sterling job.
