Dawn at Inverness Campus.

The bad news is that dawn is still becoming later, and continues to do so even after the Winter Solstice, for several days. The good news is, that in the evenings, sunset has moved from being at 15:31 for about the past week, to a minute later today (locally). Pity I didn't see it, or the Sun at all today, if it appeared. Forecast for the week means that it may not be seen all week, through the cloud cover. At least it's going to be much milder.

Air temperature this morning, and overnight, was above freezing. Unfortunately the ground temperature wasn't, and after some rain yesterday, there was black ice galore on the backroads... another car day.
