Almost a set back

The thing about transition is that the previous state has not gone and the next state has not yet taken over.
I went into Edinburgh to buy some Xmas gifts and to accelerate the move from humbug to jollity.  Edinburgh was very busy.  It was no fun.  Shop assistants were overly helpful.  That is no fun either.
Humbug seemed as if it was here to stay.  But a splendid sunset over Princes St brought Jollity back.  Back to stay I hope.
