Swinging

Today, I popped into an area in DC that's undergone some major changes and was blown away at the transformation that took barely 18 months: a downtrodden, scary area along the Potomac river has been turned into a modern and vibrant neighborhood, complete with some 30 new restaurants and bars, several high-rise condominium units, new piers (with those wonderful swings), a 3,000 seat arena for concerts and more. Just amazing. Must return at night for dinner and a show and lots of photography!
