Madagascar Day 10

Today we drove east from Tana to Perinet. Got stomach cramps after breakfast and lunch, but took some pepto bismol and had no further repercussions.

After lunch we took a walk in the reserve in search of more lemurs. We didn't have to walk far, these beautiful Golden Eastern Bamboo lemurs were enjoying the bamboo in the afternoon warmth. They were right by a bridge which we were on. At one point one of them sat on the bridge right behind us, one of those too shocked to use the camera properly (at all!).

We went for an evening walk in a private reserve. Saw some chameleons and I was lucky enough to be up near the guide when he spotted the Goodman's Mouse Lemur, got a good view in the binoculars.
