Garden Visitor
Family visitors are going to enjoy these little honey eaters flying into the garden, they are getting very tame these days, once upon a time they wouldn't fly into the garden let alone into a feeder tray, they are still a little timid bird always on the look out and never staying longer than a millisecond.
So much for the storm, the South West and a few other suburbs caught the worst of it, no flooding as predicted but still above average rain fell the most in six years, no one is complaining, the storm packed 85km winds which we caught most of that, it left little damage.
Rotto, the little island just of our coast caught a fair bit of the winds too but again no major damage.
