Festive

Well, it turned out to be very fortuitous that I had cancelled the meal with Gilesey - was on the toilet most of the day and felt awful! Luckily I felt more settled when it came time to put the hens to bed. Still can't figure out if it's my mind that triggers the bowel  problems or vice versa. Just hope it all settles before my sister comes Thursday! 
I'm not usually a fan of Hippeastrums - I admire their size but find them a bit too blousey. However I love this one that came in my bouquet  - decidedly festive!
