Parched + pain = pain

It's been soooooo hot and dry.......

The grass is brown (though miraculously, the weeds remain green!)

Today, the  forecast was for a few showers in the afternoon.  We got a little moisture........tiny......actually, virtually non-existent.  The pic on the left shows the few drops that fell on the deck.  Of course, with the heat in everything, it was only a matter of moments until they'd all evaporated.

It's going to be a long summer.........
