A Bit Of History

Buckstone is an area on the south of Edinburgh.

It is named after this stone - a short history of which can be found Here.

It is one of these object/places/artifacts that gets past by thousands of people a week without it ever being noticed.

If you travel Braid Road you can find it just north of Buckstone Drive on the east side.

I might shoot some more wee bits of local history in future.
