Winter coat on

Another brief trek around Dyrham Park. It's great to have a National Trust membership because you'd never pay those prices for the short visits we manage at this time of the year - by the time we're up and ready there're barely three hours before sundown! Mind, that might have as much to do with our slow egress from the duvet as it does the time of year...

Thought after yesterday's unsettling mono I'd go for something a tad more cuddly, and this fallow deer stag is in his winter coat. And I seem not to have made full use of all my 'extras' so let me give you a bird on a wire at a little after sunrise (ok, see above, quite a bit after sunrise!)
