A Different Pier

This is the pier at Paignton rather than my more frequent shots of the one at Teignmouth. I had an appointment there this morning and being up early was surprised that instead of the fog that was forecast, it was a bright frosty morning with just a little mist which soon disappeared. 

After my appointment I stopped at the sea front and took a walk along the esplanade and a coffee at the Shoreline cafe which has great views out to sea. On my way back the pier looked rather splendid with a bright blue sky and vapour trails among the clouds. This is my favourite from the morning.
