Sixteen for dinner

My youngest brother, middle brother, son, daughter and their wives, husbands , fiancées, offspring and dogs arrived during the day until there were 16 for dinner! They decorated the dining room and didn't allow me to watch, and I served up oysters, smoked salmon, beef in red wine, cabbage, mash and carrots, a cheese course and a pear and cherry crumble with custard or white chocolate ice cream!
Today is the last day of my fifties and they have come to celebrate my birthday tomorrow!
