Endings

Woke early to do reviews and prepare for today’s planning meeting, then, after (brief!) annual catchup with T, across town to attend grant committee. Walked through the German market which I had to myself....it’s usually rammed!....where I saw this food stall where the slabs of salmon had started to smoke/grill.
After (long!) discussions over small decisions, dashed back for a couple of meetings before the last set piece of the year, then went with J to see my friend N who’s in hospital, not well at all. He was in quite good spirits but it’s serious.
Home, ate some leftovers, chatted to T on the phone, then just slumped a bit....feel a bit wiped out as well as worried about N.
