Monday Morning

That normal ‘Monday Morning’ feeling isn’t helped by feeling like death warmed up.
I believe I may we’ll have a serious case of Man Flu which I shall ‘manfully’ treat using off the shelf paracetamol rather than pitching up at A&E or the GP’s for a rather more expensive set of pills.
Who knows, living with a nurse may have made me more aware of costs, both financial and time, than those using the NHS for sniffles treatment.
Or perhaps the memories of a service life where you would receive very short shrift for arriving at the sick bay coughing and sneezing.
