Nice haul

It’s very rare that secondary school teachers get gifts. Teenagers aren’t ones for expressing gratitude towards their teachers too often! But today I left with a decent haul !
I have spent just 4 months at the school but I have made an impression :-). My year 13’s bought me 3 boxes of chocolates because they weren’t sure which I liked best:-)))), got a full tub of Roses chips from a year 12 as well as a chocolate reindeer from the other RE teacher. Got red wine from the senior management team and a smelly room rose from the woman who is returning from her maternity leave.
Was quite touched - hard to build relationships in just 4 months but think I managed it
