Lights Charity Action

A great evening Carol singing in our street but I think I was more worried than I should have been.

This year we didn’t run out of anything. And the Rep from the charity knew exactly what she needed to do and she did it brilliantly.

But our cooker element has given up, as have many of our Christmas lights as plumbing work blew several fuses all at once. Not a calm couple of hours after a full-on day at work. Relieved that the mulled wine and hot chocolate didn’t rely on the oven, and the mince pies went into someone else’s oven. Supper for family and guests was a shambles though.

I can’t quite believe how packed this week is.
