Central Station

Into Glasgow tonight with friends for the tour of ‘hidden’ Central Station. What a terrific tour; passionate and knowledgeable guide who has a lifetime’s work in the railways behind him. Moving tales of the days of WW1 when the Station was used as a mortuary and other wonderful bits of social history of the station, the Caledonian Railway and the strong women of Glasgow. Then on for food and a look at the lights (see extra)
