Santa is on his way

No snow here today. It's been grey, damp and mild.

Mum had to see a chest physician about an abnormality in her recent chest  x-rays. He was very reassuring saying that if she had reached 96 without cancer, she was very unlikely to develop it now. She has to have a CT scan, but he's not expecting to find anything untoward.

Then we went to Tesco and shopped. I think we are all ready for tomorrow's lunch party.

I started on codeine yesterday and have had MUCH less pain today. It's made life easier.

Margret came and shared our evening meal. She brought a few goodies from the hamper that arrived from Germany today. (So generous, always.)

This little Santa snow globe should have been photographed for Tiny Tuesday but I didn't manage it. I wanted to photograph the snowflakes falling but this proved very difficult with the Sony. There is a delay before firing and the snow doesn't last long. I caught a few flakes, added a few more, set the globe in front of a Christmas card, faffed on a bit and the result is as you see. Hope he reaches your house in time for Christmas.
