Day Off

Letting the mortar dry on the patio project, so thought a visit to Tewinbury was in order. David came round yesterday to inspect my workings and said he'd been down there recently seeking the Kingfisher I'd regularly blipped recently, but failed. All he found was a single Green Sandpiper and of course the resident Moorhens.

Well I'm afraid we did no better than David, just a single Green Sandpiper and of course the resident Moorhens (oh, and a Common Frog), so for today's photo you have one of the resident Moorhens - quite a handsome bird and doesn't really deserve to normally be preceded by "just a".
