The Golden Hour

.. well, that's what they call the hours of sunrise and sunset.

As I came home from work on the express scooter, I noticed this cruise ship just off Guernsey. I rushed up the hill, keeping within the 35 mph speed limit, grabbed the camera and headed back to get this shot.

As you can see, the sun is just setting, giving a lovely glow against the boat - probably one of the last cruise ships of the season to visit our island. It is heading back to Southampton, so a tourist told me, who was also taking a photo.

I don't think many folk got off this boat today, as St. Peter Port was not that busy at lunchtime.
