50 years on.

After lots of fiddling with my blip yesterday this one is straight out of the camera. Our early walk was 30 minutes later today but it was so murky it seemed just as dark. This is how it looked near the end of the walk at Coppice Pond, St Ives estate.

Mist and fine drizzle summed up the weather which is still quite mild.  As we walked home it struck me that it was 50 years exactly since I was bridesmaid to my sister on just such a day. I was 14 and not that thrilled to be dressed in pink satin with a Millie Martin hairdo (a lot of brushing and the drizzle soon got rid of that!)

So not a very Christmassy blip today but certainly a reminder of Christmas past.
