Hairy Curtain Crust

It was ridiculously warm today - 14 degrees according to my (highly accurate) car thermometer. Warm enough for butterflies although,I didn't see any. I think this is hairy curtain crust - stereum hirsutum - a very widespread crust fungus which varies in colour. The rippled edge is supposed to resemble a curtain. The hairyness isn't very apparent from this image because its on the upper surface which is largely hidden.
