Yet More Fungi

We had an early start today, leaving home at 7:00 a.m. to go to Doncaster - we wanted to be certain of getting there by 8:30 to go with our granddaughter to school as she was a ‘star’ (the twinkling sort) in the nursery Nativity play!

A packed house watched the staff perform miracles with 3 and 4 year olds (like herding cats). The children were brilliant and sang along with great gusto. The acoustics weren’t great for the spoken parts - the little ones didn’t really have the projection to be heard, so it was just as well that we knew the story.

After the show I took the dogs out for a walk, we took Finlay with us as he is staying in there until boxing day. Had to take them in two shifts, Finlay first and then our daughter's two. I spotted this rather nice fungus growing in the woods.
