Carols at the cathedral

A group of us from work took an extended lunch break today so we could go to the Business Workers and Shoppers Carol Service at the cathedral. I can’t remember the last time I went to a service at the cathedral. It must’ve been for midnight mass when I was about 16 years old with my parents. It’s such an amazing building and the atmosphere was wonderful. The choir sang beautifully and gave me goosebumps with each carol they sang. I even got tears in my eyes when a whole cathedral full of people sang Away in a manger. Alexander has been singing it loads and I couldn’t help but think of him whilst singing. Just one more day at work and then the festivities can really begin.
