Scottish Parliament Christmas tree.
I went with my wife and oldest son to the last session of First Minister’s Questions this year. A lively affair at points.
Our local MSP Angus MacDonald had kindly arranged a tour over lunchtime, so we got wide access. It was interesting to be in the Garden Lobby just after FMQs, and in the Chamber when empty. It’s a lovely place.
We ended up having lunch at the Parliament - great soup and shortbread!
My older son then went off to work leaving us to enjoy Edinburgh in the Christmas season.
