More than expected!

Following yesterday's wee accident, I took my cut finger to the doctor this morning.  Overnight the back of my hand has become puffy, red and hot, so I thought it best!  She has marked on my wrist where the infection had spread to, and I am under strict instructions to see her or go to the hospital if it gets worse.

Lots of spare dressings and two different antibiotics to keep me going over the next few days, but at least stitches weren't required. Knitting is going to be a bit tricky, and having to keep it dry will obviously hinder my dish washing abilities, but at least I can still raise a glass or two as the medication isn't affected by alcohol!
