Imaginative play....

After school today our grandson wanted to make a car ferry in our lounge - no problem!!! After lining up chairs, getting rope to tie up the ferry, making a car ramp for his pedal car and his fireman's helmet captains hat we were ready to go - oh sorry forgot the clothes airer for the bow of the ship, the saucepan lid for the ships wheel, the keyboard to make a fog horn sound and the till to take passenger money and Evie as stewardess! Ready now. All this planning was his idea - no stone left unturned. We had such fun. I love being a grandparent! But guess who had to clear up once they had gone!!
