Naughty Or Nice?

Saw this blue heron out in the inlet standing around on one leg (which seems to be all the rage these days) and noticed his attempt to appear festive.

However, that look on his face makes me think he is possibly more grumpy than merry.

Perhaps the heron is reflecting on his behavior over the past few weeks and is concerned that Santa may deem him more naughty than nice.

There might be no huge mullet in his stocking Christmas morning.

Maybe Mrs ATB and I will stop by on Christmas and drop him off a little surprise.  :-)
