The elf

After 3 days of high fever, I saw my doctor and was sent home with a heavy dose of antibiotics for what is very likely pneumonia. The doctor didn’t want me to wait around for the X-rays to be read, and I’m going back on Sunday. Just what you want to do on Christmas Eve!

I was feeling rather overwhelmed: so many things to do, and I can’t do any of them. And then S said: hey, do you need me tomorrow?

So she came and did some crafts with Olivier: he had never met her before, but he’s a very good judge of character and within 5 minutes, he loved her.

She even brought cookies!
