Morning out

Today we went out for a walk through town to catch up with a friend from Canada who we haven't seen for 7 years.

We exhausted all the kids which was awesome. Lincoln got so tired of walking that he asked if he could go in the pram with Elliott "like I did at the Santa show". Elliott fell asleep on poor Lincoln who was very squashed in the back but we managed to switch them when we got to the playground.

Lincoln had a rather lucky accident in the playground. He was standing too close to a spring operated seesaw and got his leg pinched in it. Thankfully it is just a bruise and a bit of a scrape. It could have very easily been to much worst.

Elliott has spent the whole day talking. He repeats what people say and rambles constantly to himself. His pre school teacher just posted a progress story on him saying she's impressed he can string 4 words together. I think he'll be able to surprise her when his 2 1/2 week holiday is over.
