Out and about in town looking for a decent pub, it's Friday night after all. Our favoured place was hooching, we'd arrived too late, but we eventually settled for Blu which seems to have been refurbished since our last visit and still has that new-pub look and feel about it. Not bad though, we'll no doubt be back!
The flat is looking a bit more lived in with the chairs we ordered back in June finally arriving and a few pictures hanging on the walls. And we had smoke detectors fitted this morning. Amazed that they're not mandatory in new builds but apparently not - until the insurance company stepped in rather insistently. Fine by me, don't want to disappear in a puff of smoke any time soon.
