Ant Hill

Well we have been paying for the early week sun shine today.

It has rained all day, very heavy at times, with few outdoor blip options.

We gave the dogs a morning stretch on woodland tracks near Boat o Garten. This caught my eye, a big ant hill. As with virtually any ground level subject needing close framing and a crouched stance Caley feels the need to muscle in on the shot. A delicate wild flower, rain drops on flimsy grass stems or a brittle autumn leaf; bang, crash, thud and the effect and image is gone.

And so it was today, an impressive ant hill, slightly imperfect by the time I pushed the button.
